I missed all but the tail end of your series, so this is very helpful for me that you organized it in this way. Thanks, Syd!

Syd!

Where the hell have I been? Have you seen me? If not, get out that amber alert! I swear to you, keep busy enough and you won't have time to fear... Work is keeping me so busy, that I haven't had ANY time for myself... That said, I have found a few things I've noticed about my own fears:

1) I can go through with doing the things I fear IF I have to do them - and I stop fearing them altogether if I have to do them regularly! (I used to be afraid of bugs, but now that I've been working near a swamp I practically call them my friends now!)

2) Fear drains my passions. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it seems that the more energy I give in to my fears, the less energy I have in doing the things I love. In fact, I find that the energy output of doing the things that I love gives me MORE energy to combat my fears. I don't know if that's true for you, but it seems to be for me.

And...
3) I developed a new fear. I now fear being so afraid again. It sounds silly, but I don't want to have all my energy sucked out of me the way it was last year! =S

Anyway, keep up the great work, and keep plugging away at them fears! One of these days, they're gonna know who's boss! =)
